Why don\'t we have full-day kindergarten (SPONSOR 08/01/09 3:21pm)
Does anyone know why Hillsborough does not offer full-day kindergarten. My child, and I am sure many children in the district, have been enrolled in full-day daycare and preschool. It seems like it is a step backward to offer only 2 1/2 hours of kindergarten. I am sure money has an impact, but we pay some pretty substantial taxes and money alone does not suffice.
